Why You Might Want To Give Your Carpets & Sofas a Good Clean This Spring

The National Carpet Cleaners Association has recently carried out a nationwide survey of households in the UK to uncover what dirt and germs might be lurking in sofas and carpets up and down the country.

The Nationwide Results

We take for granted the state of our carpets and sofas. While many of my clients have their soft furnishings cleaned regularly, not just for cleanliness but to also maintain them, many people also leave cleaning until the carpet ‘looks’ dirty.

But you can’t always see what’s lurking in your carpet and fabrics… all sorts of germs and bacteria are spread every day, trapped in the fibres that can only be removed by professional carpet deep cleaning. ┬áThese┬ánasties could be causing health issues for you and your family without you realising.

So there you have it. I always try and educate my clients to have their carpets and upholstery cleaned regularly. Recommended every 12-18 months. This will help keep your home nice and clean, AND, prolong the life of your soft furnishings.
